Another of my dad (Floyd Price) taken around 1932/3 or so. The studio name is embossed in the lower right corner of the picture. Under great magnification, it reads 'Lupien Lawrenceville Ill'. Submitted by Mike Price.

 

 

Seed Street Public School abt. 1923, Bridgeport, Illinois

Russell E. Crawford was the teacher at Leech School in 1924-25.  I am not sure of it's location but he taught in this Country School at this time. Possibly someone can tell us more about this Country School. Submitted by Joanne Crawford Ikeda

 

Merrill Crawford son of Christopher Crawford & Mary Etta Knepper while serving in Siberia in 1919 during WWI.    Merrill was raised in the small village of Klondike, Petty twp, Lawrence Co. IL. as a youth then his family moved to Bridgeport about 1911.  Merrill graduated from Bridgeport High School. Submitted by Joanne Crawford Ikeda

Eliza Payne Anderson (the mother) born 1853 died 1948 - daughter of Isom Payne

William Wright Anderson (the father) born 1853 died 1943 - son of Benjamin Anderson

Ida Mae Anderson born 1898 died 1935 married Harold Smith

Pearl Anderson. Born 1891 ...married Lem Russell 

*note that the death cert of William Wright Anderson listed him as "white" the obit for him listed him as "Negro" his father Benjamin Anderson was listed as "Negro on his death certificate. (If you know this family please contact submitter)

This picture had to have been taken before 1933 ....as that is when William died.
